Sesto Fiorentino
The territory of Sesto is of Roman origin, as he gives his / her name to Latin sextum lapidem, namely "the sixth miles away from Florence. The settlements are instaurarono along the Via Cassia, and is currently among the flat Florentine and the pre-Apennines culminating with the Monte Morello. During the Renaissance period, the country followed a progressive development thanks to the considerable improvement of city life, obtained through a land reclamation, ponds and marshes.
